Downtown
If are looking for a chic urban lifestyle, check out Tampa's Channelside District. With dozens of new multi-story condo projects under development, the district may one day resemble Miami's South Beach with its vibrant nightlife, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance of luxurious lofts. Historic Ybor City, is only a few minutes -- and a few trolley stops -- away and provides a mix of history, excellent dining, and some of the hottest nightlife in all of Tampa Bay.

South Tampa

There are subareas within Hyde Park: Hyde Park Village, an upscale shopping district located near the intersection of Swann and Rome Avenues encompassing several city blocks; SoHo, a small sub-district that runs along South Howard Avenue; and Bayshore, an area abutting Bayshore Boulevard.

Northeast Tampa
Do you prefer newer areas and love outdoors? New Tampa offers modern communities near terrific parks with easy access to biking trails or canoeing. Drive a little north, and you end up in Pasco county. There has been much growth in Pasco county in recent years with hot areas like Wesley Chapel and Land O Lakes hosting many new developments. Young families favor these areas for quality schools and affordability.
- Land O Lakes lives up to its name elegantly, with neighborhoods designed around the area's many lakes and nature preserves. Every community in Land O Lakes is loaded with a host of amenities, and with a wide selection of affordable homes as well, it's no wonder this is such a popular community. Northwest Tampa
If you prefer newer suburbs yet want to stay within half an hour commute to downtown, you may prefer the Citrus Park and Westchase neighborhoods located in northwest of Hillsborough County. Veterans Expressway makes the commute to downtown a breeze. These are more established neighborhoods with easy access to numerous restaurants and shopping centers, including Citrus Park Mall. In this area, but offering the lush yards and conveniences of older, well-established communities, are the Carollwood and Northdale neighborhoods.
