I help A.J., and throughout the home selling or buying process, I will be helping YOU, too. So, allow me to introduce myself.

My family relocated to the Tampa Bay area during summer 2008. We moved here from Knoxville, TN, and prior to that we lived in Naples, FL. A.J. was our Tampa realtor, recommended to us by our real estate agent in Knoxville. He became a friend to our family, and now we are co-workers.

Relocating a Family to the Tampa Bay area

I know what many of you are going through, relocating to the area; I can relate to your questions, concerns and difficulties are because I was in your shoes not long ago.

Our biggest concern as homebuyers with a young daughter was in finding a family-friendly neighborhood we could feel safe in with amenities to entertain kids and top-rated schools for when the time came. But we also needed to consider Bill's commute to the University of Tampa in Downtown Tampa, home cost (including property insurance cost, tax rates, HOAs, CDDs, improvements), proximity to the community resources we use most.

Additionally, we needed to find a bank/mortgage company, property insurance, a property inspector, doctors, even where to find good Cuban food, .... Of course, being new to an area, it's hard to know where to begin looking. In many instances, we ended up turning to A.J. for advice.
